02.07.2011 The 9.th European Team Championship had a large success: 34 Member Federations entered their team, the largest participation in the history of European Team Championship! The official start-date is -as previously announced - July 15.th. The best 3 teams of each Semi-final + the best 4.th team [scored points / played games] will qualify to the Final, together with the best 3 teams of the Final of the 8.th ETC; should a team get a "double qualification" (from 8.th ETC Final and 9.th Semi-final), it will be replaced by the best not-qualified team amongst all of the preliminary groups.
